SHEQ MANAGER – ROOFING & CLADDING

Overview

In this role you will lead Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality performance across roofing, cladding, rainscreen and fire remediation projects in the UK. You will support project teams with risk assessments, RAMS and safe systems of work, while driving QA and continuous improvement. The position offers hybrid, site-based or office-based options to fit your preference, with a clear path to develop your SHEQ leadership. You will collaborate with site teams and management to uphold standards and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out site inspections, audits and compliance reviews
• Support RAMS, risk assessments and safe systems of work for projects
• Manage quality assurance from pre-start through handover
• Investigate incidents, near misses and non-conformances
• Deliver toolbox talks, SHEQ briefings and site coaching
• Ensure compliance with CDM, HSE requirements, Building Regulations and relevant standards
• Work closely with site teams, subcontractors and senior management
• Drive continuous improvements across health & safety, quality and environmental performance

Key requirements

• Background in roofing, cladding, façade or building envelope
• Experience on site operations; ability to transition to SHEQ leadership
• Strong industry experience and willingness to develop in SHEQ
• Open to training and professional development; role can be hands-on or management-focused
