Senior Quantity Surveyor

Overview

In this Senior Cost Manager role, you support major infrastructure projects in the North East, focusing on cost planning, control and governance. You will work with client and contractor teams to keep projects on budget and on schedule, while developing your operational and technical skills through training and qualifications. You’ll lead contract administration, change, and forecasting, driving value through proactive cost management. Responsibilities

• Administer contracts in line with project objectives and policies
• Monitor, forecast and report project costs to completion within budget
• Proactively manage cost variance, contract cash flow and timely applications
• Collaborate with client and contractor teams to deliver KPIs, cost control and value engineering
• Manage contract changes to maintain governance and best practices
• Improve forecast and budget accuracy
• Provide commercial support to stakeholders
• Ensure final accounts are negotiated and agreed
• Lead people and commissions as needed
• Establish professional relationships with clients and project teams
