Logistics Manager

Overview

In this role you will lead Control Tower operations on the HS2 project, coordinating a team of logistics coordinators to meet stakeholder requirements. You will work on-site at Willesden Junction, driving daily performance, continuous improvement, and effective handovers between shifts. You’ll deputise for the Control Tower Manager, act as a systems super user, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support a growing logistics operation across major construction projects. This is an opportunity to shape the delivery of critical rail infrastructure and develop your leadership skills within a dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Lead Control Tower operations during shifts and deliver high team performance
• Conduct daily briefings and monitor team output
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
• Deputise for Control Tower Manager when required
• Serve as Control Tower Systems Super User
• Escalate incidents and manage problem resolution
• Manage team performance and development
• Maintain good relationships with stakeholders
