Senior Quantity Surveyor

Overview

Senior Quantity Surveyor needed to manage commercial aspects of a major infrastructure project in Leeds. You will work with operations to optimise performance and profitability, while mentoring junior team members. The role combines on-site exposure with strong commercial control and contract administration within a reputable civil engineering contractor. Responsibilities

• Manage subcontractor and supplier accounts from procurement through final account
• Prepare valuations, payment applications, and cost reports
• Administer NEC contracts and oversee change control
• Identify commercial risks and opportunities
• Support procurement and supply chain activities
• Produce internal commercial reporting and forecasts
• Mentor and develop junior commercial team members

Key requirements

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar
• Experience in civil engineering, infrastructure or rail projects
• Strong understanding of NEC contracts
• Currently a Senior Quantity Surveyor or ready to step up
• Strong commercial, contractual and communication skills
