In this role, you will help manage customers facing payment challenges within a fast-evolving energy company. You’ll work at the crossroads of data analytics, collections, and technology to surface insights, improve decisions, and prevent fraud. You’ll develop reporting and ML-driven policies, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to a mission to support customers while advancing sustainable energy. Responsibilities
- Own the management of customers struggling with payments
- Conduct deep-dive data investigations to surface actionable insights
- Expand and refine the reporting suite using the latest BI tools
- Develop empathetic approaches for vulnerable customers
- Create strategies to identify and prevent first-party and third-party fraud
- Develop machine learning models and policies for sophisticated decisions
- Proactively identify new areas of opportunity
- Challenge KPIs, objectives & strategy
- Build relationships with Collections, Ops, Technology, Finance and other stakeholders
Key requirements
- Excellent SQL skills
- 2-5 years experience in data analytics in a consumer-facing business

- Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Effective communication of complex data concepts
- empathic approach toward vulnerable customers
- Python data science stack (pandas, NumPy, Jupyter notebooks, Plotly/matplotlib)
- Git familiarity
