Full Stack Engineer, Blockchain

Overview

As a Backend/Full Stack Engineer in the FinApps Access team, you design scalable backend services that handle high-volume on-chain transactions across multiple chains. You will own end-to-end components, integrate with DeFi protocols and on-chain data sources, and push production-scale features. You’ll work with product and research teams to improve performance, security, and reliability while shaping multi-chain routing and data access at pace. This role offers impact on how billions flow through decentralized networks.

Responsibilities

• Design and build robust backend services for high-volume on-chain flows across EVM and non-EVM chains
• Own end-to-end development of backend components and APIs, from architecture to deployment
• Lead integrations with DeFi protocols, on-chain data sources, and blockchain nodes
• Research emerging blockchain technologies to keep on the cutting edge
• Optimize production systems for latency, throughput, and security
• Collaborate with product, protocol research, and platform engineering to deliver high-quality solutions
• Drive features from inception through delivery at scale
• Take full ownership of the product lifecycle

Key requirements

• 7+ years of Backend or Full Stack engineering experience
• Blockchain and Web3 experience with understanding of transaction lifecycles, consensus, and on-chain data
• Experience with multiple ecosystems (EVM and non-EVM) such as Ethereum, Polygon, Solana, TON, etc.
• Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript
• Experience designing and operating microservices in production CI/CD environments
• Strong understanding of security, cryptography, and blockchain best practices
• Familiarity with DeFi protocols and on-chain routing is a plus
• Web3 tooling/libs experience (ethers.js, viem, web3.js, Solana web3.js)
• Full stack experience with React is a nice to have
