Overview

In this role, you will support the Head of Corporate Banking to achieve London Branch KPIs by growing corporate banking business. You will manage relationships with existing clients, explore cross-sell opportunities, and bring in new corporate clients while ensuring compliance with laws and regulations. You will coordinate credit, KYC/AML processes, and documentation to deliver banking solutions. This position offers hybrid work in central London and a chance to shape the bank’s corporate clients portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Grow baseline trade revenues and assets from existing clients to hit targets
  • Enhance relationships with Head Office, Domestic Branches and clients to increase deal sizes and cross-sell (loans, deposits, trade finance, cash management, FX, bonds, RMB, etc.)
  • Actively acquire new clients to expand London Branch assets
  • Provide and promote high-quality corporate banking products and services
  • Maintain accurate client/credit files and support pre-loan investigations and credit procedures
  • Conduct corporate KYC and AML-related work and manage legal/documentation tasks
  • Oversee internal system work including credit applications, reviews and maintenance
  • Mentor junior CB team members to foster a cohesive culture
  • Produce high-quality client support documents and meeting preparations
  • Possibly undertake additional duties to meet business needs

Key requirements

  • Native-level English (speaking and writing)
  • UK client relations/business development experience in Syndication Loans
  • Ability to bring in new deals and corporate clients
  • Willingness to join a small/medium Asian bank
  • Degree holder or higher educational level
  • Solid relevant experience in the UK banking sector (UK background corporate clients)
  • Ability to independently manage both business development and transaction execution
  • Strong credit analytical skillset preferred (not essential)
