As Serious Injury Lawyer in Bristol, you will manage a caseload of intermediate and multi-track claims, including catastrophic injuries, fatal accident claims, and early rehabilitation-focused work. You will work closely with medical experts, counsel and clients, progressing cases to meet deadlines and negotiating settlements. Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of intermediate and multi-track personal injury claims
• Assist on catastrophic injury cases where appropriate
• Liaise with medical experts, counsel and other professionals
• Regular client contact including face-to-face meetings and Court visits
• Progress cases proactively and meet litigation deadlines
• Value quantum and negotiate settlements
• Utilise in-house case management system
• Keep up to date with legal and regulatory developments

Key requirements

• 2-6 years’ experience in Personal Injury / Serious Injury
• Experience handling higher value or complex cases
• Strong client care skills and compassionate approach
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proactive, organised and motivated mindset
• Confidence managing matters independently
• Strong litigation experience and ability to meet Court deadlines
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Willingness to travel for client meetings and Court attendances
• Additional experience in catastrophic injury work is favourable
