Responsibilities
- Conduct research and interviews, produce urgent copy under tight deadlines
- Identify compelling stories for the readership and craft big-impact investigations and commentaries
- Support senior journalists and editors by researching stories and preparing coverage material
- Explain complex regulatory or policy topics clearly, using strong news judgement
- Ensure high quality, accurate reporting with great attention to detail
- Collaborate with cross-border teams to align coverage
Key requirements
- Great reporting, media or publishing industry experience or knowledge
- Collaborative approach with the ability to work across international teams
- Commitment to producing high-quality, accurate reporting
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Fluent command of English; ability in other European languages an advantage
- Newsroom experience, ideally from covering financial services regulation
