Responsibilities

• Underwrite commercial property risks including residential and commercial landlords, mixed occupancy properties, and high-value portfolios
• Assess new business, renewals, and policy amendments for compliance and regulatory standards
• Build and negotiate terms with brokers to secure profitable business
• Monitor portfolio performance, identify trends, and take corrective action to meet growth and profitability targets
• Support broker development initiatives and contribute to product development and underwriting strategies

Key requirements

• Experience underwriting Commercial Property Owners insurance
• Strong understanding of property risks
• Analytical skills to assess risk information (property values, construction details, claims history)
