Overview

As Tax Compliance Manager at Taptap Send, you will own global tax compliance across our multi-jurisdiction entity structure. You will collaborate with external advisors and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate, timely filings and robust reporting. You’ll support new market launches and product rollouts, shaping tax strategies as the business scales. This is a fast-scaling fintech role offering exposure to diverse jurisdictions and high-level stakeholders. You’ll help build compliant processes and stay ahead of evolving tax rules to enable responsible growth.

Responsibilities

  • Own global tax compliance across all group entities and coordinate with external advisors for timely returns in each jurisdiction
  • Manage relationships with outsourced compliance providers, define scopes, review deliverables, and maintain quality standards
  • Lead tax reporting including tax provisions, deferred tax, and disclosures for statutory accounts and group reporting (IFRS and/or US GAAP)
  • Support new market launches by embedding tax requirements from day one for new markets or products
  • Contribute to tax projects such as transfer pricing documentation, group restructurings, and assessing legislative changes
  • Build and improve internal tax controls, reporting, and processes as the function scales
  • Monitor jurisdictional tax developments and feed insights into planning
  • Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and advisors on compliance queries, audits, and filings
  • Monitor current and deferred tax reconciliations and tax rate tracking across the group

Key requirements

  • Qualified CPA, or equivalent professional qualification
  • At least 5 years of tax experience in practice or in-house
  • Strong grounding in corporate tax compliance and multi-jurisdictional reporting
  • Experience managing external advisors and reviewing outsourced deliverables
  • Solid understanding of tax accounting under US GAAP and/or IFRS (one required)
  • Transfer pricing documentation experience is a plus
  • Experience in fintech, payments, or high-growth startups is a plus
