Single Sponsor Medical Director (Medical Advisor) – commutable to Reading, UK.

Overview

In this role you provide medical oversight of assigned clinical studies and act as the main medical contact for customers. You bring medical input to safety, protocol design, and trial conduct, while guiding teams and site staff. You’ll help ensure subject safety and data integrity, and support business development and scientific engagement. This is a patient-focused, cross-functional role within a dynamic, mission-driven organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical oversight as Medical Monitor for assigned studies
• Serve as primary medical contact for customers
• Contribute to Drug Safety and Pharmacovigilance input
• Participate in protocol design, amendments, and study start-up activities
• Deliver project-specific medical and therapeutic training
• Support feasibility and subject identification activities with medical input
• Contribute to data collection tools, monitoring plans, and analysis plans
• Oversee Medical Scientist staff and medical directors; present trends and mitigation strategies
• Provide after-hours medical coverage for trials
• Maintain knowledge of FDA/ worldwide regulations and ICH GCP
• Assist in RFP/BDM responses and clinical development/regulatory input as needed
• Represent the company at scientific meetings as requested
• Adhere to enterprise policies and project plans
