Project Finance Manager – the Collective

Overview

In this role you will drive the growth of the Collective by originating, assessing and executing renewable investment opportunities for retail investors. You will shape financial products across technologies, supervise and mentor team members, and lead complex financial analysis from valuation to risk-aware financing structures. You will work closely with cross-functional partners to scale listings and delivery, contributing to a mission of greener, fairer energy ownership.

Responsibilities

• Scale the Collective and increase retail investment listings
• Originate, evaluate and execute new renewable investment opportunities for retail investors
• Design financial products across multiple renewable technologies for retail investors
• Mentor and lead team members, providing senior financial oversight
• Lead financial analysis, valuations, commercial terms reviews, and financing structure assessments

Key requirements

• Six+ years of project finance/transaction experience in renewables/infrastructure/energy
• Strong analytical skills and Excel-based financial modelling
• Understanding of valuation theories, accounting and tax concepts
• Commercial mindset with ownership of investment decision-making
• Ability to assess risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Project management and organisational capabilities
• Evidence of managing complex workloads in fast-paced environments
• Excellent stakeholder communication across diverse groups (developers, lawyers, policymakers, committees)
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g. FCA) and data/AI-assisted insights tools
