Lead Data Scientist – Pricing

Overview

Lead Data Scientist to shape Wise’s cross-border pricing using data, ML and experimentation. You will build a data-driven pricing strategy and execution plan in a competitive remittance market. Partner with Pricing analytics, engineering, Product, FP&A, Commercial Directors and senior leadership to turn data into pricing decisions that drive growth and reduce costs. Design pricing experiments, forecast impact on demand and revenue, and automate insights at scale. This role blends analytics, causal inference and data infrastructure to enable sustainable, fair pricing.

Responsibilities

• Design and run a robust pricing experimentation framework across corridors and segments, defining metrics and reporting and applying causal inference to identify true impact of price changes.
• Model price elasticity and revenue effects; forecast demand, volume and revenue, and optimize pricing by segment.
• Build data pipelines and monitoring to ensure timely, accurate pricing data; automate reporting and insights for scalable testing.
• Apply ML to analyze pricing-related customer contacts and surface pain points to reduce friction and simplify structures.
• Collaborate with Growth, Product and Operations to translate insights into pricing actions and reduce friction in pricing.
