Overview
In this role you will lead a diverse private client tax portfolio within a respected Ipswich firm. You’ll own complex tax work across individuals, trusts, and estates, while advising on planning and structuring to protect wealth. You’ll develop juniors, handle HMRC matters, and contribute to client strategies and business development. This is a collaborative, team-first environment with a clear path to progression and a hybrid work setup.

Responsibilities
- Manage and review complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, and estates
- Provide proactive advisory on inheritance tax, capital gains, IR35, property structuring, and succession planning
- Support and develop junior team members
- Handle HMRC enquiries and liaise with clients
- Contribute to broader client strategies and business development initiatives
- Manage client relationships and collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality work
Key requirements
