Procurement Manager – London – Infrastructure

Overview

In this role you will lead procurement for large-scale infrastructure projects and align strategies with client objectives and programmes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize costs, risk, and supplier performance. You’ll manage tendering, contracting, and governance while providing market insight and progress reporting to clients. The position offers exposure to rail, water, aviation, and energy projects within a globally recognised consultancy, with a clear impact on project delivery and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for large infrastructure projects
• Oversee tender documentation, supplier evaluations, and negotiations for competitive outcomes
• Administer procurement contracts (NEC, FIDIC or equivalent) and manage variations and performance
• Build and maintain relationships with contractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure timely delivery
• Identify procurement risks, monitor market conditions, and ensure governance and sustainability compliance
• Provide client advisory and reporting with commercial insights and market intelligence

Key requirements

• MRICS or MCIPS qualification
• relevant degree level qualification
• 5+ years’ infrastructure procurement experience in consultancy or client-side roles
