Medical Affairs Partner — Cardiovascular, Renal & Metabolism (Obesity/Weight Management)

Overview

In this Medical Affairs Partner role within Roche’s CVRM team, you help shape obesity science and bring it to clinicians and patients ahead of launch. You build scientific relationships, map the UK obesity landscape, and translate evidence into medical value, laying foundations for a successful presence in obesity care. You work with autonomy to develop compliant medical materials, generate insights, and support cross-functional collaboration. Your work aims to improve patient outcomes at scale and prepare healthcare providers for new treatment options.

Responsibilities

• Engage with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders across obesity and related cardiometabolic areas
• Translate complex evidence into meaningful medical value for customers and patients
• Create and adapt high-quality, compliant medical and scientific materials largely independently
• Map external scientific landscape and generate insights to shape medical and squad priorities
• Ensure compliance, ethics and patient safety at all times
• Collaborate across teams to reduce silos and coach colleagues as the team grows

Key requirements

• Life-sciences, pharmacy or medical qualification
• Proven field-based medical role experience (e.g., Medical Science Liaison, Medical Advisor)
• Experience in obesity/weight management or related cardiometabolic area
• Self-sufficient operator who can structure priorities with minimal support
• Working knowledge of the ABPI Code of Practice and ethics guardianship
