Procurement Manager

Overview

In North London, you will lead sourcing for direct and indirect materials to support precision manufacturing of wafer-scale imaging devices for the medical sector. You’ll shape the end-to-end procurement strategy, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive cost efficiency, supplier performance, and risk mitigation in a volatile global market. This role focuses on delivering a resilient supply chain that meets high-precision manufacturing demands. You’ll work in a dynamic environment where fast decision-making and cross-site coordination matter, offering a meaningful impact on product quality and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end sourcing strategy for direct and indirect materials
• Source and manage electronic components and mechanical fabricated parts
• Identify, audit and onboard new suppliers
• Build a resilient, cost-optimised supply chain for high-precision manufacturing
• Monitor vendor performance and mitigate supply risks

Key requirements

• Background in electronic component procurement
• Ability to read and interpret electronic/electro-mechanical drawings
• Experience identifying, auditing, and onboarding suppliers
• Experience in fast-paced manufacturing/engineering environments
