Senior Site Manager – Central London

Overview

In this role you will oversee the day-to-day delivery of a high-rise residential project in Central London, coordinating with the Project/Contract Manager. You’ll lead on-site teams, manage subcontractors, and ensure safety, timeliness, and cost controls align with the project plan. You will contribute to the site’s safety culture and drive efficient execution on a major 300m scheme. This is a hands-on leadership role at a top-tier residential developer with a strong impact on project delivery and company reputation.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day delivery of large/complex construction projects including time, procurement, and contractor coordination
• Manage and support on-site Site Managers and coordinate with Project/Contract Manager on progress, risks, and resources
• Supervise subcontractors, monitor attendance and progress, provide instruction to meet contractual targets
• Ensure detailed plans align with the overall project plan to meet deadlines and production needs
• Guarantee materials are delivered on-site to support production schedules
• Maintain rigorous safety practices and implement safety procedures across the project
• Identify additional work opportunities and inform Project/Contract Manager or Commercial Manager
• Fulfill Site Manager responsibilities per Health, Safety and Environmental Policy and complete related documentation
• Work under the direction of a Project Manager or Contract Manager on site or in the office
• Utilize company information systems and databases effectively
• Adhere to company policies and procedures and implement improvements to support division goals
• Propose and implement new ideas to enhance contribution and the company’s reputation
