Electrical Project Manager – Cheapside

Overview

As Electrical Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of high-spec electrical design-and-build schemes across central London. You’ll own projects from inception to handover, coordinating clients, consultants, site teams and subcontractors to hit time, cost and quality targets. The role sits in a project delivery team focused on fast-paced, live-environment schemes, with a strong emphasis on safety and commercial control. This is a growth-focused opportunity with exposure to major office fit-outs and landlord works.

Pay / Benefits

• 65,000 – 70,000 basic salary

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical projects from inception through handover
• Manage full project lifecycle including planning, procurement, delivery, commissioning, and completion
• Oversee site teams including supervisors, engineers, and subcontractors
• Coordinate with design teams to ensure buildability and technical compliance
• Manage project programmes, budgets, variations, and commercial reporting
• Ensure health & safety standards and CDM regulations are adhered to
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders
• Drive progress meetings, site reporting, and project documentation
• Resolve technical and on-site delivery issues efficiently
• Ensure projects are delivered to specification, programme, and profitability targets

Key requirements

• Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager within building services / M&E
• Strong electrical bias with hands-on understanding of installation and delivery
• Experience delivering commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects
• Strong knowledge of CAT A / CAT B projects and landlord electrical works
• Excellent stakeholder and client-facing communication skills
• Strong commercial awareness (budgets, variations, cost control)
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and site teams
• SMSTS, ECS/CSCS (preferred)
• Strong understanding of UK electrical standards and regulations
• Based within commutable distance of London / willing to work in central London full-time
