Salaried General Practitioner (GP)

Overview

In this role you will be part of a GP team in a busy South London practice cluster, delivering high-quality patient care to a diverse population. You will work within a supportive PCN and contribute to practice development and QOF initiatives. You will diagnose, treat and refer appropriately, while maintaining GMC-compliant practice and collaborating with the wider team. This is a patient-centred, autonomy-respecting role in a welcoming, staff-focused environment that emphasizes professional growth and development.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality primary care through face-to-face and telephone consultations
• Assess, diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions
• Make autonomous clinical decisions, prescribe safely, and refer to appropriate services
• Maintain safe and effective clinical practice and accurate records in line with GMC Code of Practice
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver coordinated patient care
• Support achievement of QOF, contribute to practice initiatives, and pursue ongoing professional development

Key requirements

• Experience as a General Practitioner or in a similar primary care role
• Experience with EMIS in a clinical environment
• Demonstrated expertise in patient care across settings such as nursing homes, senior care facilities, hospice environments, and home care services
• Current UK professional registration
• Willingness to undergo Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
