Overview
In this HR Specialist role, you will support end-to-end employee lifecycle management and partner with the HR team to deliver development, performance and engagement initiatives. You’ll help administer reward processes, handle employee relations, and maintain HR data for regular reporting. The position sits within a central London, permanent role with hybrid work arrangements and a focus on the UK insurance sector. This is a hands-on partner role that shapes employee experience and HR operations across the business.

Responsibilities
- Support the HR team across the end-to-end employee journey
- Coordinate training needs and delivery for new joiners and existing staff
- Assist with compensation and benefits administration
- Support performance management processes from target setting to reviews
- Coordinate employee engagement initiatives and survey reporting
- Assist with employment relations and handling of sensitive information
- Manage HR data and generate management information reports
- Respond to HR policy queries and prepare employment letters
- Maintain strong cross-department relationships and act as a trusted business partner
Key requirements
- Relevant degree or qualification
- Strong HR experience in management of the employment lifecycle (UK)
- Experience in the insurance industry
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Team player with flexible/adaptable approach
- Approachable with strong interpersonal skills
- Highly organized and self-motivated
- Experience with HR data and performance management is an advantage
