Overview

In this role you will support the Hospital Director to lead Chadwick Lodge, shaping culture and service delivery. You will manage clinical and non-clinical teams and serve as the Clinical Lead for Quality and Compliance. With project management experience, you will oversee clinical and operational functions and deputise at key stakeholder meetings. You will help develop a high-quality, bespoke care pathway for service users, contributing to a high-performing, patient-centred service.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Hospital Director in leading the service
  • Manage clinical and non-clinical teams
  • Act as Clinical Lead for Quality and Compliance
  • Oversee clinical and operational functions and drive projects
  • Depute for the Hospital Director at internal and external meetings
  • Develop a high-quality, bespoke pathway of care for service users

Key requirements

  • A relevant clinical qualification and professional registration (e.g., Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Social Work)
  • Multiple years of senior management experience in a mental health setting
  • Evidence of management/leadership training and willingness to undertake internal leadership training
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience managing clinical and operational teams and creating a positive working environment
  • Ability to manage multiple issues in a dynamic environment
  • Awareness of the wider healthcare economy and political environment
  • Detailed understanding of statutory regulations
  • Ability to oversee and deliver site projects
  • Experience in a mental health setting; knowledge of regulatory processes and the CQC
  • Up-to-date knowledge of legislation related to the patient group
  • Audit and compliance experience in a clinical setting
