Overview
As a Quantitative Analyst at Fitch Ratings, you contribute to model development that underpins credit analysis and ratings. You join the Model Development Team within the Analytical Group, collaborating with specialists to design, implement, and validate models across sectors. You will test, document, and support model usage, while engaging in trainings and research projects. This role offers the opportunity to shape robust credit models in a globally respected organization.

Responsibilities
- Research, design, implement and enhance credit risk models across sectors (Corporates, Infrastructure/Project Finance, Financial Institutions, Governments)
- Conduct comprehensive testing and document model development processes
- Collaborate with ratings and other teams on model-related initiatives and user/client support
- Contribute to trainings, research projects, and documentation efforts
- Support ongoing model maintenance and methodological adherence
Key requirements
- Master’s degree in quantitative disciplines (e.g., Financial Engineering)
- Programming and model development experience in Excel/VBA and Python or R
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Excellent verbal and written communication to convey technical concepts
