Responsibilities

• Manage an independent childcare caseload including public law cases
• Represent children, parents, extended family members and local authorities at all stages of proceedings
• Advocate in hearings with strong communication and negotiation
• Contribute to care proceedings and adoption work, including legal aid matters
• Collaborate with the childcare team and support business development initiatives

Key requirements

• 3+ PQE in family law
• Proven experience independently managing a childcare caseload
• Experience with public law childcare cases
• Knowledge of the Legal Aid system
• Strong advocacy experience
• Children Panel accreditation is desirable
