Senior Cyber Infrastructure Engineer, Professional Services

Overview

In this Senior Cyber Security Infrastructure Engineer role, you’ll deliver and optimize Darktrace deployments to clients, guiding architectural choices for complex environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design robust post-sales solutions across network, cloud, OT, and email domains. You’ll act as a trusted advisor to customers, shaping security infrastructure planning and ensuring successful, timely implementations. This role offers impact through high-profile deployments and mentorship within a fast-paced, outcome‑driven culture.

Responsibilities

• Execute deployment projects on or before SLOs and integrate new systems into existing networks
• Manage and triage customer support tickets to resolve issues
• Foster ongoing communication between go-to-market teams (sales, CS, operations)
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members
• Propose and implement robust solution architectures for complex deployments across multiple coverage areas

Key requirements

• Experience implementing cyber defense tools and securing networks
• Strong collaboration with internal/external stakeholders; mentorship experience
• Technical background in post-sales roles
• Advanced networking knowledge (LAN/WAN, OSI) and security fundamentals
• Broad understanding of network and cloud architecture design and best practices
• Proficiency in OT network principles based on the Purdue model
• Advanced knowledge/certifications with AWS, Microsoft, Cisco, and Palo Alto Networks
• Fluency in an additional European language is desirable
