Overview
As a Technology Lead in aero engine stress analysis, you guide a team of stress engineers to deliver high-quality, safe, and cost-conscious solutions. You will interact with stakeholders and oversee high-level stress tasks, mentoring and aligning delivery with customer requirements. The role sits within a culture that values collaboration, continuous improvement, and ownership, contributing to complex turbomachinery projects. This is a hands-on leadership role that shapes technical delivery in a global digital services context.

Responsibilities
- Interface with key stakeholders including Stress Specialists
- Lead and develop a team of Stress engineers to ensure quality, safety, cost, and schedule
- Drive technical delivery excellence and cross-functional collaboration
- Mentor engineers and manage priorities; govern stakeholder expectations
- Deliver high-quality outputs with peer reviews to meet customer requirements
- Steer high-level Stress Analysis tasks and support design and analysis activities
- Participate in DOE, RCA and field failure analysis as needed
- Support delivery culture of ownership and continuous improvement
Key requirements
- Extensive experience with turbomachinery components (gas turbine) in power or aviation
- Knowledge of aero engine modules (Rotatives, Compressors, Turbines, Combustors, Structures & Casings)
- Hands-on structural stress and vibration analysis of aero engine components (rotors, stators, bladed disks, structures)
- 2D/3D stress and vibration analysis using FEA tools (ANSYS Classic/Workbench, Abaqus, SC03)
- Knowledge of LCF, HCF and weld fatigue analysis
- Experience with DOE, RCA and field failure analysis
- Experience in Damage Tolerance Analysis and Fracture mechanics
