Overview
In this role you will provide US and UK personal tax advisory across clients in a fast-paced, cross-border environment. You will work within the US/UK High Net Worth team to deliver holistic tax solutions and build lasting client relationships. The position combines technical tax advisory with leadership of engagements and mentorship of junior staff, within a collaborative, inclusive culture. Responsibilities
- Provide US and UK tax advice to a client portfolio, developing knowledge across cross-border personal tax
- Manage multiple client engagements, including client and third-party liaison to define scope and budget with senior team
- Build internal networks to foster collaboration across service lines and geographies; participate in external networking to enhance market eminence
- Support junior team members through mentoring, feedback, and delegation to promote development
Key requirements
- Strong UK and/or US tax technical skills with ATT/CTA or EA/CPA (or equivalent) qualifications
- Excellent written and oral communication, with business acumen
- Ability to plan, prioritise, meet deadlines, and work under pressure
- Ability to take ownership, use initiative, and make sound judgments
- Drive, ambition, and proactive approach to personal development
- Ability to adapt quickly to changes in external environment and respond to clients accordingly
