Associate Specialist, Business Analysis

Overview

In this role you will lead and coordinate Business Analysis on complex projects, starting with a major AI and automation programme. You’ll tailor the analysis approach, align senior stakeholders, and ensure requirements, processes, and test-readiness stay connected. You may also drive analysis across strategic, regulatory, product, data, digital and operational-change initiatives. You will work with cross-functional teams to shape operating models and governance through evidence-based recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Lead Business Analysis across complex projects or interdependent workstreams
• Tailor the BA approach based on complexity, risk, value and delivery method
• Lead feasibility, process, impact and readiness assessments
• Evaluate AI, automation and emerging tech opportunities
• Develop evidence-based options and recommendations
• Plan and facilitate workshops with senior stakeholders
• Develop and validate requirements, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and readiness deliverables
• Resolve ambiguous or conflicting requirements
• Coordinate analysis across business, product, technology, operations, risk and compliance
• Define requirements for solution ownership, monitoring and ongoing support
• Identify cross-workstream dependencies and analysis gaps
• Evaluate options, trade-offs and impacts
• Present recommendations to senior stakeholders and governance
• Contribute to target operating models
• Coordinate BA input into test strategy, scenarios, defects and acceptance
• Lead analysis supporting pilot design and value measurement
• Review BA deliverables and provide coaching
• Promote standard BA methods and reuse of patterns
• Use AI-enabled tools with validation and human oversight

Key requirements

• Advanced BA and requirements-management capability
• Experience leading analysis on complex, high-impact initiatives
• Strong feasibility, process, control and operating-model analysis skills
• Ability to define an effective analysis approach for complex delivery
• Experience coordinating requirements across multiple projects or stakeholders
• Ability to resolve ambiguity and conflicting priorities
• Senior-stakeholder influence, facilitation and negotiation skills
• Ability to develop and present evidence-based recommendations
• Experience supporting testing, implementation and readiness
• Experience reviewing deliverables and coaching other BAs
• Strong understanding of Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery methods
• Experience in financial services or regulated environments desirable
• Exposure to AI, automation, data products or emerging technology desirable
• Advanced BA, Agile, product or project-delivery qualification advantageous
• Experience using requirements-management, process-modelling or delivery-management tools advantageous
