Senior Software Engineer, Quant trading – Python, Java, C++

Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design and deliver robust systems enabling 24/7 global crypto trading. You will work with traders and researchers to translate requirements into scalable software across trading, connectivity, and monitoring domains. You’ll contribute to a high-performance tech stack that supports multiple exchanges and regions, shaping the infrastructure that underpins systematic market-making in digital assets. This role blends hands-on development with cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced, crypto-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the cryptoassets team to sustain high-quality systems for global trading operations
• Architect and implement software for trading systems, exchange connectivity, and monitoring
• Use Python or Java to execute development tasks
• Perform unit, functional, and integration testing to ensure reliability and performance
• Handle legacy and new development projects
• Foster collaboration among traders, researchers, and engineers

Key requirements

• High-performance, mission-critical application design and development experience
• 5+ years of Python; experience with Java and/or C++
• Experience with network communication (multicast, WebSockets)
• Proficiency in inter-process messaging, microservice architectures, and API design
• Familiarity with Functional Programming and Immutable Design
• Trading systems experience is desirable but not required
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
