Director, Quality & Regulatory Assurance – Life Sciences & Healthcare UKI

Overview

In this role you lead the Quality function across UKI sites, shaping strategy and fostering a world‑class quality culture focused on patient safety and regulatory compliance. You will act as the senior Quality leader and regulatory expert for healthcare operations, partnering with leaders to drive growth while safeguarding licences and standards. You’ll collaborate with regulators and customers, drive continuous improvement, and influence strategic projects and acquisitions. Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the Quality and Regulatory team across multiple UKI sites
• Serve as the senior Quality leader and regulatory expert for pharma/healthcare ops
• Partner with senior leaders to shape and deliver the UKI quality strategy
• Engage with major pharmaceutical customers to showcase capabilities and support growth
• Collaborate with regulatory authorities (e.g., MHRA, Home Office) to maintain licences and compliance
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance performance, reduce risk and strengthen operations
• Review quality metrics, audits, CAPAs, deviations and trends to mitigate risks
• Support new customer implementations, tenders, acquisitions, and strategic projects with a quality focus

Key requirements

• Deep expertise in pharmaceutical regulations, GxP and GDP compliance
• Proven leadership of high-performing teams in a fast-paced, regulated environment
• Ability to engage with customers, auditors, regulators and executive stakeholders
• Experience shaping quality strategy and governance across multiple sites
• Strong track record of quality management systems and regulatory affairs
