As No.1 Site Manager, you will lead a £2.5m steel-frame industrial build in Chelmsford from start to finish. You will operate within a reputable main contractor, directing site activities and ensuring safety, quality, and programme adherence. You will coordinate subcontractors and drive timely delivery, influencing project outcomes on a high-profile industrial/warehouse scheme. This role offers hands-on leadership with meaningful impact on project success and the wider business.

Responsibilities

• Oversee site operations from start to finish on a steel-frame industrial build
• Coordinate subcontractors and trades to maintain programme
• Ensure safety, quality, and compliance on site
• Manage on-site problem solving and delivery milestones
• Liaise with project stakeholders to support handover and commissioning
