Associate Director Building Surveyor | Diverse Property Portfolio | London

Overview

In this role you will combine senior technical Building Surveying expertise with leadership and commercial responsibility to deliver professional services, manage client relationships and help grow the team in London. You will lead projects, contribute to fee proposals and mentor junior staff, supporting APC candidates. The position offers opportunities to shape client accounts and drive business development within a growing practice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a full range of professional Building Surveying services
• Contract Administration
• Dilapidations advice
• Develop new business relationships and grow existing client accounts
• Prepare fee proposals and act as a major fee earner
• Lead projects from instruction through to completion
• Mentor and support junior surveyors, including APC candidates

Key requirements

• MRICS
• 5+ years’ post-qualification experience
• Strong client-facing and communication skills
• Commercial awareness and confidence developing client relationships
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
• CAD/BIM experience would be beneficial but not essential
