Estimator – North London

Overview

As Estimator, you will take financial ownership of projects from inception to completion within the Property Services sector. You will manage tender submissions, negotiate with clients and stakeholders, and prepare comprehensive tender documentation. Working with subcontractors and across Social Housing frameworks, you will deliver accurate first-principle estimates and cost plans for bids ranging from sub 50,000 to 20 million. This role sits in a growth-focused firm and offers the chance to shape winning tenders and build strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Taking full financial responsibility for projects from inception through to completion
• Preparing and managing tender submissions
• Negotiating tenders with clients and stakeholders
• Putting together comprehensive tender documentation
• Liaising with subcontractors from initial enquiry through to final account
• Building and maintaining strong working relationships
• Undertaking first principle estimating
• Working across Social Housing frameworks
• Pricing and cost planning for tenders

Key requirements

• Proven experience working as an Estimator within a Social Housing Main Contractor
• 5–10 years’ experience in a similar role
• Degree qualified in a relevant field such as Commercial Management
• Strong commercial awareness and acumen
• Experience working on Social Housing frameworks and property services projects
