Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Advisor

Overview

In this role you support waste processing and recycling operations by driving SHEQ compliance and environmental excellence. You will work closely with site teams to promote safety, conduct audits, and develop documentation that underpins regulatory adherence. The position centers on safeguarding people and the environment while enabling efficient waste operations. Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections, safety audits, and environmental assessments aligned with waste management protocols.
• Support incident investigations related to waste operations and implement corrective actions.
• Promote health and safety awareness specific to waste processing facilities through toolbox talks and training.
• Assist in developing and maintaining SHEQ documentation, procedures, and compliance records for waste projects.
• Ensure waste management activities adhere to environmental legislation and best practices.

Key requirements

• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent
• knowledge of waste industry standards
