You join an established Civil Engineering team in Nottingham, delivering end‑to‑end civil solutions across residential, commercial, industrial and mixed‑use schemes. You help shape sustainable, buildable designs from concept through construction support, working with a forward‑thinking, collaborative consultancy. Responsibilities

• Produce civil engineering designs, drawings, and reports for drainage, highways, earthworks and infrastructure projects
• Utilize Civil 3D, MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage, and AutoCAD in delivery
• Assist senior engineers with design development and project delivery
• Liaise with clients, local authorities and stakeholders
• Prepare technical submissions (planning and Section 38/104/278 applications)
• Contribute to a positive team culture and mentor junior staff where appropriate

Key requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• Experience in a consultancy environment
• Working knowledge of UK design standards and approval processes
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, problem‑solving mindset
• Progress toward professional accreditation (IEng/CEng) desirable but not essential
