Pre-Sales Cybersecurity Engineer / Architect

Overview

In this role, you will design secure OT cybersecurity architectures and assess customer environments to identify risks. You’ll support sales through technical expertise and lead architecture reviews, workshops, and proposals. You’ll engage with engineering, operations and IT to translate challenges into practical, compliant security solutions. You’ll guide roadmaps and remediation using IEC 62443 and NIST frameworks, shaping secure digital transformations in industrial settings. This position offers opportunities to influence large-scale OT security programs while working across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design secure, scalable OT cybersecurity architectures and assess customer environments for risks
• Develop reference designs, architectures, and technical proposals
• Provide pre-sales support with cybersecurity expertise throughout the sales cycle
• Participate in discovery workshops, RFPs/RFQs, and deliver architecture reviews
• Build trusted relationships with engineering, operations, IT and cybersecurity teams
• Translate customer challenges into practical cybersecurity solutions
• Lead cybersecurity workshops, assessments, roadmaps, and remediation guidance
• Advise on IEC 62443, NIST and industry best practices

Key requirements

• Experience in OT/Industrial Automation, Process Control, or related environments
• Proven involvement in OT cybersecurity initiatives
• Strong knowledge of DCS, SCADA and PLC platforms
• Solid understanding of industrial communications and networking
• Experience with industrial software platforms and OT infrastructure integration
• Exposure to OT cybersecurity and industrial network segmentation (desirable)
• Experience with secure remote access solutions and vulnerability management (desirable)
• Familiarity with IEC 62443 and NIST cybersecurity frameworks (desirable)
