Liferay with Java Developer – Surrey

Overview

In this role you will design and develop Java Enterprise applications with a focus on Liferay portals, contributing to client projects from Surrey. You will work within a team, lead varying team sizes, and ensure delivery on time without compromising quality. You will engage with clients and teammates, applying Agile practices to projects. Responsibilities

• Design and develop Java Enterprise applications (Ports and portals) with Liferay and WebSphere Portal
• Lead and coordinate project teams of varying sizes to deliver on schedule
• Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates
• Apply Agile methodologies to project delivery and quality assurance
• Ensure solutions meet quality standards and technical requirements
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients to manage expectations

Key requirements

• 2–5 years of solid Java development experience (J2EE)
• Experience designing and developing Java Enterprise Portals (Liferay, WebSphere Portal)
• Proven ability to lead teams and deliver projects on or before deadlines
• Strong communication skills with clients and team members
• Experience working in Agile environments
