Python Developer

Overview

In this role you drive the Python-based engineering of an AI-first education analytics platform. You will work within a mission-driven, remote-first team to extend a 22-agent agentic system, surface actionable insights for school leaders, and scale the platform in a production cloud environment. You’ll shape workflows, integrate multiple LLMs, and improve observability and benchmarking to enhance performance. This is a hands-on role with meaningful impact in a scaling tech-for-good business.

Responsibilities

• Agentic workflow development: build and refine LangGraph/LangChain sub-graphs and multi-step workflows
• LLM integration: enhance prompt engineering, orchestrate models, and implement tool-calling logic
• System observability: monitor agent behavior and performance with LangSmith or similar tools
• Benchmarking & evaluation: contribute to LLM benchmarking across tasks and model families
• API engineering: develop and consume REST APIs and connect workflows with backend services
• Architecture evolution: evolve the platform as new capabilities like semantic query generation emerge

Key requirements
