Product Data Administrator

Overview

In this role you will own and improve product data across BiGDUG’s internal systems and sales channels, ensuring accuracy and consistency that supports confident customer decisions. You collaborate with Category Managers and cross-functional teams to keep product information up to date through the full lifecycle. You’ll transform messy data into clean, upload-ready formats and help present data-driven insights for supplier and product reviews. This is a hands-on, growth‑oriented position in a supportive Product team at our Gloucester HQ.

Responsibilities

• Create new products in the management system using Category Manager data
• Format and prepare spreadsheet data for upload
• Edit and prepare product images using Photoshop
• Upload new products across BiGDUG and other branded websites
• Maintain product information throughout the lifecycle (images, pricing, descriptions, specifications)
• Update supplier prices, lead times, stock data and commodity codes
• Extract and present sales data to support Category Managers in supplier meetings and reviews

Key requirements

• Strong Excel skills
• Comfort with large datasets and spreadsheets
• Highly organised with prioritisation and deadline management
• Confident communicator able to work with multiple teams
• Proactive mindset and willingness to learn new systems/processes
• Experience with Photoshop is beneficial (training provided)
