Overview
In this role, you will drive scalable store operations across a defined region, partnering with Store Managers to translate priorities into actionable plans. You’ll ensure consistent processes, support day-to-day store performance, and contribute to national initiatives and new openings. You’ll connect field and head office teams, champion continuous improvement, and help SEPHORA expand across the UK while delivering a seamless customer experience. Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for a region of stores or operational topics, providing practical support and guidance
- Ensure national SOPs, policies and procedures are communicated, adopted, and continuously improved
- Partner with Store Managers to identify operational challenges, escalate issues, and drive timely solutions
- Support day-to-day store operations, including stockroom processes, compliance, safety routines and operational standards
- Monitor field performance, identify regional trends, and share best practices to strengthen consistency
- Support new store openings from pre-opening planning to go-live support
- Coordinate deliveries, equipment and training materials for opening day readiness
- Rollout, testing and adoption of retail tools and omni-channel systems (S1, mobile POS, Click & Collect) and gather store feedback for usability improvements
- Help stores manage vendor relationships (cleaning, security) and resolve issues with Senior Operations Manager
- Ensure stores follow correct processes for ordering supplies and managing budgets, flag variances or risks
- Contribute to development and delivery of operational training and materials for store teams
- Communicate operational updates clearly and ensure stores understand changes
- Conduct regular store visits to assess standards, coach teams, and report on KPIs, risks, and improvement opportunities
Key requirements
- Experience in a multi-site retail environment (ideally beauty/fashion/lifestyle)
- Strong understanding of store operations, stock processes, customer experience, compliance and safety
- Proven ability to build relationships and influence across store and head office teams
- Experience supporting new store openings or delivering operational projects (advantageous)
- Excellent communication skills for clear, actionable updates
- Strong organisation and prioritisation with a proactive, solution-focused approach
- Confidence using retail tools and systems and ability to onboard others to new digital platforms
