In this Insurance & Reinsurance Solicitor role, you will handle a varied caseload of high‑value insurance disputes for insurers, reinsurers and brokers. You’ll work within a busy team, developing market relationships and contributing to a collaborative, commercial culture. The role offers exposure to complex matters, including PI, coverage and cyber-related disputes, across the UK and internationally. Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of insurance disputes (defendant PI, FI/D&O, coverage disputes)
• Draft and advise on technical pleadings and coverage opinions
• Advise insurer clients with clear, commercial guidance
• Handle complex, high‑value matters independently with strong client liaison
• Support cyber breach response and emerging areas (W&I, FinTech, Tech E&O)
• Develop market relationships and contribute to team culture and business development

Key requirements

• 4+ years PQE in insurance litigation, coverage or professional indemnity
• Experience at City, major regional or international firm
• Strong drafting skills and ability to deliver clear, commercial advice
• Confidence handling insurer clients and complex matters independently
• Excellent communication, judgement and project management skills
