Overview

In this role you will support governance and delivery of a large change portfolio within a Wealth and Asset Management business. You will work in the Project Office to standardise PM practices, produce governance materials, and help with resource, budget, and issue management. It’s a developmental, hands-on PMO position that strengthens governance, analytics, and stakeholder management in a fast-paced financial services environment. You will collaborate with sponsors, project managers, and cross‑department teams to drive efficient project delivery and continuous framework improvement.

  • hybrid working (4 days in the office, 1 from home)
  • salary in the 45k–55k range

Responsibilities

  • Governance & Reporting: prepare monthly Change Management Committee materials and consolidate data for MI and executive reporting
  • Portfolio Coordination & Planning: keep project records up-to-date, support new project reviews, assist with resourcing and budget processes
  • Framework & Process Management: contribute to governance framework enhancements and quality reviews
  • Project Support & Delivery Assistance: coordinate meetings, track progress, assist with handovers and issue resolution
  • Stakeholder & Cross-Departmental Collaboration: liaise with Legal, Compliance, Information Security, and department heads to align projects and resource planning

Key requirements

  • Experience in a PMO or similar role
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills with high attention to detail
  • Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies
  • Confident communicator with multiple stakeholders
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills (data analysis, presentation formatting)
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and meet deadlines
