Analyst / Senior Analyst – Fund Management

Overview

In this role you will support the Investment Management team of Hines Europe on the flagship HEREP fund series, contributing to pan-European acquisitions, strategy formulation, and asset management. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to turn data into actionable insights and investor materials, helping to drive value across investments. The role sits at the center of a high-profile private equity real estate platform and offers exposure to European markets and capital markets activities. You will partner with senior leadership to deliver performance analysis and reporting that supports institutional investors.

Responsibilities

• Support acquisitions across geographies, asset types, and strategies (including direct real estate, platform-level, and M&A).
• Help formulate and implement investment strategies using data analytics in collaboration with Hines Research.
• Own asset management workstreams for existing investments and coordinate with country teams to execute business plans and value-enhancing initiatives.
• Update financial models and conduct data/performance analysis (e.g., liquidity analysis).
• Prepare investor materials and assist in investor meetings.
• Liaise with the Fund team, capital markets group, and others to promote the Funds to institutional investors.

Key requirements

• 1+ years’ Investment Banking or Investment experience
• Strong interest in real estate; sector experience desirable but not required
• Bachelor degree from a high-calibre institution, analytical aptitude
• Numerate with strong financial modeling skills; familiarity with operating company models desirable
• Proficient in presenting complex ideas clearly in Word and PowerPoint
• Excellent written and spoken English; strong communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity; proactive and motivated
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure; team-oriented and energetic
