AI Software Engineer

Overview

In this role you will bring AI features from concept to production within Klipboard’s established C# .NET codebases. You will design prompts, manage context, and integrate LLM-powered capabilities into core products, while ensuring reliability, performance, and measurable quality. You’ll work closely with product managers, engineers, and subject matter experts to deliver practical AI that improves pricing accuracy, stock answers, and part matching. This role offers hands-on growth in a fast-moving AI practice within a global ERP/SaaS company.

Responsibilities

• Design prompts, context strategies and LLM integrations for product features in real-world domains
• Integrate AI capabilities into established C# .NET codebases with clean boundaries and maintainable abstractions
• Produce production-grade features with error handling, latency controls, logging and ongoing evaluation
• Prototype quickly, harden features over weeks, and ensure rigorous testing against business cases
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers and SMEs to understand business problems and deliver usable AI outputs
• Keep pace with evolving AI tools and share knowledge through code, examples and conversations
• Document work to help future engineers and promote knowledge sharing
• Ensure AI outputs are accurate, safe and properly data-handled

Key requirements

• Solid production experience with C# .NET in established codebases
• Hands-on experience building with large language models (prompt design, context engineering, structured outputs)
• Track record of shipping from idea to working software within weeks
• Experience testing or evaluating LLM outputs to improve quality
• Daily fluency with AI coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor)
