Overview
As Global Category Leader for Creative & Advertising, you will define and deploy global and regional procurement strategies for creative services and digital agencies. You will build a scalable agency ecosystem, balancing global consistency with local relevance and affiliate adoption. You’ll partner with Global Marketing and brand leaders to drive value, innovation, and reliable delivery across markets. This role shapes agency models, sourcing frameworks, and governance to support launch cycles and brand priorities at Ipsen.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end category management for Creative & Advertising services across global and regional levels.
- Define global and regional sourcing strategies in collaboration with Global and Affiliate Marketing/Brand leadership (including North America).
- Balance global consistency with local market needs and ensure affiliate-level value delivery.
- Align category strategies with brand lifecycle stages and therapeutic priorities (including Neurosciences).
- Lead strategic sourcing and negotiations for major engagements (>300k) and oversee framework agreements, pricing models, and performance contracts.
- Design and enhance the agency ecosystem (rosters, hubs, modular models) and commercial frameworks for innovation and speed.
- Drive deployment of frameworks across affiliates and monitor value realization and performance by region.
- Utilize spend analytics, benchmarking, and market intelligence to identify value, innovation, and risk opportunities.
- Animate and support the International and NA Procurement community with updates and best practices.
- Partner with Global Brand Leaders to influence investments, agency ecosystems, and omnichannel execution.
- Build and lead a global Creative & Advertising procurement affiliate network across regions.
- Capture feedback, share best practices, and resolve affiliate challenges related to agency services.
- Define and lead SRM and supplier ecosystem strategy with performance management and continuous improvement.
- Implement standardized service packages, rate cards, benchmarking tools, and volume-based commercial frameworks.
- Ensure alignment with SSC execution models and deploy standard playbooks and sourcing frameworks.
- Maintain governance and compliance through supplier panel usage, policy adherence, and ESG commitments.
- Define and negotiate Global framework agreements, rate cards, and performance-based contracts.
- Monitor savings, SLA compliance, and stakeholder satisfaction; act as escalation point for supplier issues.
