Senior / Principal Consultant, Air Quality – Cardiff

Overview

In this role you will support the Air Quality team to deliver dispersion modelling, monitoring, data analysis and reporting for a mix of national and international projects. You will collaborate with clients, project teams and authorities to shape air quality assessments and compliance. The position offers scope to contribute to bids, project managing activities and business development while working within a global firm focused on impactful, sustainable outcomes. Responsibilities

• Dispersion modelling using ADMS and ADMS-Roads
• Design and implement ambient air quality monitoring plans (passive and automatic)
• Contribute to bid submissions, quotes and tenders
• Project management to budget, programme and scope
• Liaise with clients, project teams and Local Authorities
• Collation and analysis of data
• Report writing
• Business development and profile raising for the air quality team (senior/principal)

Key requirements

• Good numerical skills
• Degree in a scientific discipline
• Ability to work within a team
• Excellent oral and written communication and IT skills
• Ability to write clear, concise reports/proposals
• Experience of project management, supervision and QA of air quality work packages
• Knowledge of relevant legislation, policy, technical guidance and industry standards in air quality
• Experience in data analysis and interpretation using Excel and GIS
• Positive, proactive approach and accountability for personal and team development
• Associate or full member of the IAQM
