Data Scientist – Compliance

Overview

In this Data Scientist role, you contribute to building a compliance-focused product for a fintech business, leveraging AI and data analysis to handle unclean data. You’ll work closely with clients, the CTO, and product teams to implement data-driven compliance solutions. The role blends technical experimentation with client-facing delivery and some project management. You will be part of a small, ambitious team delivering high-visibility projects for blue-chip clients.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients and product teams to develop and implement a compliance product
• Support product development and deployment efforts in a client-facing context
• Generate insights from data analyses to inform compliance solutions
• Provide training and act as a subject-matter expert in compliance data
• Assist with project management activities on key initiatives

Key requirements

• Experience in financial services, preferably in compliance
• Strong data analysis background
• Educational background with Master’s or Bachelor in Computer Science (or equivalent)
• Experience with large-scale data analysis
• Ability to use SQL (preferred)
• Programming experience (desirable)
• Willingness to engage in client-facing work
