Overview

In this role you will lead RheEnergise’s global commercial strategy to commercialise High-Density Hydro technology. You will build and scale the commercial function, secure major partnerships, and shape offers for buyers across utilities, developers, and other sectors. Working with the Executive Board, you’ll drive revenue growth, design innovative pricing models, and align technical solutions with client needs. This is a high-impact opportunity to accelerate the company’s global market expansion and energy transition.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the global commercial strategy for deployment of High-Density Hydro technology
  • Design and implement innovative commercial and pricing models
  • Build, lead, and scale a high-performing commercial team
  • Own end-to-end commercial lifecycle for major deals from origination to contract execution
  • Collaborate with technical teams to tailor client solutions (grid, construction, engineering)
  • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline and CRM processes
  • Lead negotiations on high-value, complex contracts (multi-million)
  • Identify and prioritise strategic opportunities to maximise value creation
  • Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders across the energy ecosystem
  • Introduce governance, processes, and best practices to support scale

Key requirements

  • 10+ years’ experience in a commercial role within energy or renewables
  • Proven success in commercialising new or complex technologies
  • Strong understanding of wholesale energy and flexibility markets (incl cap and floor mechanisms)
  • Experience negotiating high-value, complex contracts
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams
