Health and Safety Consultant

Overview

In this role, you will deliver health and fire safety risk management services across diverse sectors as part of Ramboll’s growing safety consultancy. You’ll work with clients to navigate regulatory requirements, organizational culture and technical safety challenges, delivering audits, risk assessments and training. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in the UK and overseas to develop proposals and support bids, while contributing to the broader safety service growth. Responsibilities

• Deliver health and safety and fire safety risk management services in a multi-disciplinary project environment
• Execute project work including audits, risk assessments, report writing, training delivery, and bespoke client solutions
• Collaborate closely with a wide range of clients
• Develop proposals for new work and support bids/tenders
• Support promotion of H&S services across the UK business
• Assist on broader H&S and environmental projects as needed
• Support project delivery and financial management (planning, resource coordination, timesheets, invoicing, budget tracking, records)

Key requirements

• NEBOSH General Certificate (essential)
• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (desirable) or working towards
• NEBOSH Fire safety level 3 or equivalent (desirable) or working towards
• TechIOSH or GradIOSH
• Full clean driving licence
• At least two years’ H&S experience
• Knowledge of fire risk assessment
• Teamwork with ability to manage own workload
• Understanding of UK H&S and Fire Safety legislation and compliance
• Client/stakeholder facing confidence
